General release sneakers, regardless of the brand, never seem to motivate me into buying sneakers but, for some apparent reason this tech material used on these sneakers (as well as on the previous release of the Nike "Tech" Blazers) have ignited my interest. Also, the single, solid colorway for each of them most certainly influence the look on the sneaker. I, Big Ron, am really feeling these over all giving them a 9 of 10 and as part of the domino effect, these will be with the rest of 'em stacked up on my closet floor.

BBC/Ice Cream NY Flagship Tee

Now that BBC/Ice Cream's flagship store in NY has been up for a year now, they're going to celebrate by releasing their moon pattern, Billionaire Boys Club NYC Tee. Takashi Murakami, "Planting the Seeds" Shorts

Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, is putting down roots by planning to open an animation studio in Los Angeles next summer. The new studio will operate under the umbrella of Kaikai Kiki, which happens to be his production and artist-management company.The studio's first project will be a feature-length animated film based on Kaikai and Kiki, Murakami's digitally animated cartoon characters, whom happen to be traveling the world in a spaceship and learning to grow watermelons with the help of fertilizer. Just to give you [readers] background information on the artist, Murakami also did the art work for Kanye West's album, "Graduation" and created the animated video for the "Good Morning", as well.

G-Shock DW-6900 Astro Boy

Seeing other blogs having posts about this same watch, indicates that I arrived to the party just before the guest list closed, but so what? The watch's eminence still remains. The watch is evidently something to admire and wish for, especially now that the giving holidays are approaching. 'Til this day, G-Shock still manages to stay up-to-date with their timeless timepieces, especially sky rocketing their sales with the help of collaborations with diverse brands. I, Big Ron, will announce again that no matter how much hype G-Shocks receive on a daily basis, "The G-Shock will always remain on my wrists for as long as I grow old."

FARinspiration: Vroom... Porsche 2010 Panamera

Must give Porsche their kudos on their first work-of-art sedan concept they have brought to life. It is quite frankly, a masterpiece in every sense of the world. The prices will range from $89,800 to 132,600. It's expected to compete against the Mercedes Benz CLS and the upcoming Audi A7. Given the right amount of funds and one day, this bad boy will be parked right outside of the mansion without any doubts.

"Pastelle" Previewed at American Music Awards

The still under-wrap clothing label, Pastelle, previewed the potential impact it can have in fashion last night at the American Music Awards as it was endorsed by no other, but the owner himself, Kanye West. The brand's article seen here is a blue/red two-tone varsity jacket. The selected colorway, along with the variety of materials used, definitely complete the jacket. We'll just have to stick around and await what else Kanye and Pastelle have to offer the fashion industry.

Boogie for Nike ACG

My favorite photographer, Boogie, is working with Nike to promote the ACG. I, Big Ron, was sold when I first seen one of his many rugged, raw, explicit photographs which was a lynched rat off a "Walk, Don't Walk" post. To give you some background information on Boogie's work, he's trademark with his black & white style which always happens to complement his works by giving it a more raw and straight forward look. He also has a predilection of photographing more urban scenes and exposing the truth as well as the bad sides of the streets. As you can see in this picture, he switches up the outdoor-minded ACG to a more urban setting.

Nike x KRINK AF1

Craig "KR" Costello has recently been working with Nike to take on Nike's most persistent shoe created, the AIR FORCE 1 or as "KR" says himself, "...it has been a staple for decades and is a true iconic classic." The best part of this collaboration is the goodies it comes with. It will come with a hand-made KRINK silver marker and special edition box. November 29th is the official release date as of yet. It will be released in exclusive retailers across the US. I, Big Ron, personally must shamelessly say that my collection only contains one pair of Air Forces. It is though simply for the fact that AF's seem too bulky on my feet when I look down. Looking at this collaboration, my imagination is going to have to deceive my eye sight because no matter how bulky I may think they look on me, this collaboration is one I may not accept to pass me by. This is what you so-called, "Sole Collectors" should be sayin to thy self.

Countdown Package "XI & XII"

The much anticipated countdown package, consisting of the timeless Jordan 12's and 11's, colorway has been revealed. The 11's are coming out in the "Bred" colorway as for the 12's, the "Playoff" colorway sticks. Hands down like 6:30, the best package released out of the total of 11 released (this one making it the 12th). Ironically, these are going to be the very last package being dropped on the year of '08. I'm guessing Santa's workers are going to have to work overtime in order to produce all the packages listed on every child's Christmas list!

G-Shock x LRG 10 Yr. Anniversary

I, Big Ron, have been wearing Casio's G-Shock collection way before it blew up. I've always been inspired by new accessories that complement my outfit. When I started wearing my first G-Shock, my wrist felt like a million bucks especially after hearing people say remarks such as, "Hey, I like your watch of the future." I knew others would end up buying it and I have this penchant that if I wear something and it becomes part of the mainstream, I'll switch up to something NEWER and on the rise. I must say though, the G-Shock will always remain on my wrists for as long as i grow old.

Louis Vuitton recently used Takashi Murukami to design the exterior of their store on 5th Ave. We advised you readers in advance, in our "Introductory" about our stand in expressing our opinions openly and freely to you. That being said, I, Big Ron, say that Louis Vuitton is overall a nice, luxurious, over-priced brand and all but I'm really not feeling this thing Murukami and LV have going on. But then again this is MY opinion and I'm pretty sure YOURS differs. Just wanted to express my thought on this subject.
