Urban Mediaspace
In a competition of architects and architect firms to design "Urban Mediaspace" - the largest public library in Scandinavia, Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects were announced the winners last Tuesday. Rather than focusing on books, Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects envisions the building as a hub for social interaction thatincludes indoor and outdoor recreation spaces, as well as studying, socialising and relaxing areas. The project is set to be located in Aarhus, Denmark with a whopping price of $228 million Euros. Check out the designs below.
