Yves Saint Lauren Men's Spring 2010
For the introduction of the collection, Stefano Pilati first previewed a short film shot by French actor/writer/director Samuel Benchetrit, starring his 11-year old son, Jules in which he reunites a couple who are having communication issues, underlined the romantic ideal that is at the core of Pilati's work. The collection demonstrated elegant high-waist pants, under-tailored jackets, low in front, higher in back, and various sinuate pieces which wrapped the body. The ideal of the entire collection was, "Folky but formal, what menswear should be," as Pilati mentioned at the show's end. For full coverage of the collection click here.
