- Nike just announced exciting news today (Jul 3) for fans of MVP and NBA Champion, Kobe Bryant, in Asia. After two previous Asia tours, Kobe Bryant will be revisiting the continent this summer to meet with friends and local basketball players, and to also shoot some hoops with them. The itinerary for this tour includes Manila, Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Cheng Du. This will be the third time for Kobe to visit Taiwan. The MVP said that he is very excited about his revisit to Taiwan and hope to witness the progress of the younger basketball players. He will be reinforcing the young players’ skills, helping them understand the importance and value of training, and of course, what it takes to become a champion.
In conjunction with the event, Nike had also released the special Nike Dream Season sneakers exclusively for Asia on Jul 1. The Nike Dream Season is designed specially for outdoor courts and is particularly well-received in Asian cities. This will also be one of Kobe’s autograph series, so do check out the MVP and the kicks at a city near you.
