"Lovely" is the word we were looking for to describe this piece of architecture. The "Archipelago House" was designed by Tham & Videgard Hansson Arkitekter as they chose the designated location to be deep in the cluster of islands near Sweden's capital, Stockholm. Its dark forest of trees with a long and low elevation design was inspired from its current location. The home features private rooms at the back with living spaces in the front which are unified by a long, angled patio. The facade, as seen, has floor to ceiling glass windows specifically to get the beautiful panoramic view of the Baltic Sea. This is a dream summer house to spend a good week or two and escape all the city madness. More pics available below.
