Jiddu Krishnamurti

- "When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind."

Alex Midler: 10 Yr. Old Skater

WOW this is pure motivation for the young! A ten year old who dedicates himself to skateboarding everyday isn't just landing tricks, but media attention too. Well if you see the clip you'll see why he's already being interviewed. Oh yeah, remember... when you do things with passion and FOR THE MIRTH... the moon's your limit!

Mishka NYC x Colt 45 x Vice Backpack

I'm feeling this right here. Mishka NYC teams up with your traditional 40oz. beer providers and vice magazine. For some reason this backpack is funny... no, literally.

- "...The classic backpack comes in blue with a beige suede bottom and a multitude of patches on the upper. The backpack is exclusively available at the Mishka flagship store in Brooklyn." (via)

Quoddy Maliseet Oxford / Blucher

With [mostly] every school having to wear uniforms, the only way left to stylistically express yourself is though your feet. While sneakers will be highly sought out for, I'm thinking stepping it up with some nice shoes. Take these for example produced by the Maine-based footwear manufacturer Quoddy. "The darker, more refined Maliseet Oxford features a 4-hole design with a clean upper wihile the Blucher on the other hand includes a light brown shade with collar trim." (via)

Method Man & Redman on Stage

can they possibly get anymore crazier? And believe me, they do this in every show!

Mural by Anthony Lister

Anthony Lister painted this mural over a billboard in Sydney and as we all can see, the result was DYNAMITE!

Soko | "I'll Kill Her"

Joerg Barton was the man in charge to carry forward the illustration for Soko's song I'll Kill Her. The execution is beautiful as the animation was entirely done in black and white. Check it out and leave us your thoughts.

Karl Largerfeld has to be a human Quote-Machine. Most of the shit this guy says is quotable. We all need some stepping up with our speeches.

HUF Fall '09 Preview

Looks like HUF is planning to hit the Autumn/Winter in the head with their upcoming delivery. The lineup is looking pretty steady with several outerwear, button-down plaids, denim, headwear and graphic tees. Keep an eye open as this collection will release in a couple weeks.

Graffiti With LED Light... DOPE!

Aissa Logerot is a French designer who invented the oh so innovative LED Light Spray "Halo." What's dope about this invention is that the LED releases an [interchangeable] light and if the battery happens to lose energy, simply shake the can and SHAMWOW!... you have energy again!

Air Max to Maxim Video

I'm feeling really secure that I have seen a video about the introduction to the revolution of the Nike Air Max elsewhere that resembles this one tremendously. Anyhow, check this out and you might learn somethings.

King James Exhibtion

Nike recently held a brief exhibition offering an insight into Lebron James' signature sneaker line alongside Nike which was held at Lebron's old playing ground, Akron, Ohio. The walk-though exhibit traces the basketball player's career from his first signature shoe for Nike to every other shoe in its own respective room with season stats and pictures of the King.

Nike Air Max Lebron VII

Designer Jason Petrie over did it with Lebron's seventh shoe for his signature line! The shoe took inspirations from Lebron's lifestyle, career and interest resulting in one blend of technical design. "The Air Max Lebron VII was designed over an 18-month
period with Lebron’s involvement throughout the process." The shoe will be release internationally on October.

Julian Duron

The vivid colors in these paintings are incredible. Thumbs up go to Julian Duron for this style.

Rick Owens 2010 S/S

Taking a more ironic approach to the his Spring/Summer Collection, Rick Owens executed an entire collection solely using a darker tone on every single one of his pieces contrasting how we try to avoid dark colored clothing in the Spring/Summer due to the heat.
