Takashi Murakami, "Planting the Seeds" Shorts

Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, is putting down roots by planning to open an animation studio in Los Angeles next summer. The new studio will operate under the umbrella of Kaikai Kiki, which happens to be his production and artist-management company.The studio's first project will be a feature-length animated film based on Kaikai and Kiki, Murakami's digitally animated cartoon characters, whom happen to be traveling the world in a spaceship and learning to grow watermelons with the help of fertilizer. Just to give you [readers] background information on the artist, Murakami also did the art work for Kanye West's album, "Graduation" and created the animated video for the "Good Morning", as well.
