New Heden

Photobucket

New Heden is a new architectural plan proposed by Swedish architects Kjellgren Kaminsky wished to be constructed exactly on a block called 'Heden' in Gothenburg, Sweden. The plan consists of inhabited hills with walkable roofs which hold allotments and small parks. It's basically to convert the area into a multifunctional and sustainable city that will include parks, apartments, shops, offices and sports facilities. The highlight of the plan is its eco-friendly roof feature. Whatever rain water falls on it, is absorbed, purified and usable for household water. The buildings are expected to be low consuming in energy and house approximately 10,000 people. There's no way this plan can be turned down. More pictures of 'New Heden' below.
