Sony VAIO P

Photobucket

Sony of course is always out in the market trying to release new products and with that in mind, they have previewed their long-expected, 8" screen VAIO P netbook. Even with its wide shaped, to give the mini PC larger keyboard than most systems its size, it's claimed to fit into many pockets as shown above. Equipped with more advanced hardware than most netbooks, the portable comes with 2GB of memory, a webcam and a 128GB solid-state drive. Wireless is also stronger than on most netbooks and includes 802.11n Wi-Fi along with built-in Bluetooth and CDMA-based 3G (all the technological terms get confusing right?). Running for $900 USD in stores late January and February, the device will be ready to be used with Verizon. More pictures available below.

Having mentioned some of the netbook's highlighted features, do you feel that with its size and advanced hardware, it will be able to fairly beat the MACbook on a virtual fight as seen on our earlier post, MAC vs. PC. What are your .02-Cents, PC or Mac users?
