Hov or Ye?

Photobucket

"If I can get on one beat with Hova, Maybe we can get up off this cheap ass sofa." - Kanye W.

Does that really remain or do new artists willing to get a boost from veterans prefer Kanye West on their track instead of his Big Bro? To me it seems as if Ye is the most overbooked artist of today. If you realize, Kanye West is featuring on tracks of every genre you can basically say with artists such as N.A.S.A, Madonna, Estelle, Teriyaki Boyz, Young Jeezy, Wayne along with a whole bunch more to name. Not only in music but in everything else you can think of ranging from fashion, sneakers, TV shows and even blogs. Every blog you go to, it's inevitable to not see Kanye up on them. Now, please don't misinterpret this post. There's nothing wrong at all with him being so out there in the mainstream. Ye is one of my favorite artist and not trying to sweat the fella, but how can he not be. He's rich in creativity, versatility and talent. Anyways, on the other hand you have Jay-Z. He still remains one of the best hands down like 6:30, but I just notice he's not being looked for as much by the media. Of course you'll hear of his new tracks and projects and all, yet just not as often as Ye. Back then as I remember, Hov was on every artists' track simply murdering his verses on the beat and all the word of mouth was bout Jay. Today, it seems like Little Bro has taken over that spotlight and put it on himself. What do you think?
